Lethean is located on the Portlaoise main thoroughfare, directly across from the Dunnamaise Theatre. Established in 1999, our goal was to bring something new to this rapidly expanding town. Thus far, it has established a reputation for its pleasant surrounds and it first rate food and drink.
Food
Lethean offers delectable lunches 7 days a week (from 12-4 pm) and an extensive selection of coffees, delicious home cooked desserts, fine wines, beers and spirits at all times.
Music
Music is an aspect of Lethean which is of paramount significance, being ailored regularly to suit the day, hour and mood of both clientele and staff. This is achieved through everything from our excellent DJ’s and Live Bands to the hip tunes on our jukebox!
Internet
Lethean is also a free wireless internet access hot-spot for laptop user and has both a big screen and plasma TV’s for all sporting events.
So, we recommend you pop in with your laptop, have a cappuccino, a bite to eat, watch the match and listen to some tunes…not all at once of course!
